chasethewind > Natasha Candid (8-16-2008)

So, I have been trying to do some photos for my church's fall small group literature...and I was able to capture Natasha's true personality in this one. She and her husband are very photogenic and were comfortable in front of the camera. They are great people to be around; funny, friendly, but unfortunately they are Patriots fans. I don't hold it against them too much, though. Actually, they were a great group to warm up my skills for the photos of the upcoming sets of leaders. I'm hoping to continue and get some good shots this Sunday. Let me know what you think of this and my other photos. Taken with my D80. Keep Shooting, folks!
chasethewind > Stained Glass Rachel (1-5-2009)

Another photo from the photosession with Quin and Rachel in Bedford, PA. Keep Shooting.
chasethewind > Snow Battle (1-12-2009)

As you can see, we like to decide who gets to shovel the snow the old fashioned way....by having a duel. You might be able to guess that I lost this time....I suppose having a broom against a shovel never worked well. Oh well....Keep shooting (and shoveling)!
chasethewind > Merry Christmas 2008 (1-10-2009)

Ok, so for all those that didn't get a Christmas card from us (that's all of you...), here's us hoping you had a joyful Christmas with family and friends. Much love from the chilly northeast! Keep shooting.
chasethewind > Untie the lights (1-9-2009)

Yet another pictures of Amanda, the cat and I getting ready for Christmas! I was a homely feeling to be setting up the tree for the first time in your in your new house. Lots of tea and hot chocolate goes well with cool nights and christmas cheer. More to come. Keep shooting!
chasethewind > Trimming the Tree (1-8-2009)

I know this is a little late, but I'm just trying to catch up on some of my pictures. Anyway, here Amanda is getting the tree ready for Christmas. I hope you had a happy one. I always love decorating the tree, how about you? Do you have any holiday traditions that you and your family have? Keep shooting
chasethewind > Covered in Scarlet (1-13-2009)

One really wonderful thing about the snow for photographers is that it does a great job of filling shadows and brightening a photo. Here, it helps to fill in shadows that would have appeared on Amanda's face. I also love the focus on this photo. She has the most gorgeous eyes. They are so alive. "When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet." - Proverbs 31:21 Keep Shooting.
chasethewind > Big Lip (1-21-2009)

So, here's a picture from Christmas at my parents' house. It was a lot of fun got to see so much family and have plenty of relaxing time. This is was a candid shot of our nephew, Spencer, who we got to meet for the first time. Tell me that Lip isn't adorable. Well, if you do...you're crazy. I know we are going to have a blast seeing him grow up to be a man. Congratulations, again, Chris and Julie! Keep shooting, everyone!
chasethewind > Mary Kay Portraits (3-9-2009)

Took this this past weekend after a Amanda decided to have a girls night with the accompanyment of a Mary Kay representative. After a whirlwind of product demonstrations, I took some photos of our subjects (we happened to be baby sitting at the time, hence the rosy-cheeked child). Send me some comments. Let me know if you'd like your photo taken! Keep Shooting!
